The Food Services Supervisor plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our culinary team at Real Fruit Bubble Tea INC. This position requires a dedicated individual who can effectively manage staff and maintain high standards of food quality and service.
Key Responsibilities- Staff Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of food preparation personnel.
- Training: Instruct staff on job responsibilities, sanitation practices, and safety protocols.
- Resource Estimation: Assess and estimate the necessary ingredients and supplies for meal preparation.
- Recruitment: Hire and onboard new food service staff.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all food and service meet established quality control standards.
- Customer Relations: Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns effectively.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit necessary reports regarding operations.
- Scheduling: Develop and manage work schedules for the team.
The position is set in a fast-paced restaurant environment that may be noisy and wet. The supervisor will need to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while paying close attention to detail.
Qualifications- Education: Completion of a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma program lasting 1 to 2 years.
- Experience: A minimum of 1 year and less than 2 years of relevant experience in food services.
- Strong client focus and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent verbal communication abilities.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a team-oriented environment.
This is a permanent position requiring 35 to 40 hours of work per week, with a focus on maintaining a high standard of service in a dynamic setting.
