About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef de Partie to join our team at Four Brothers Cucina. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of our dishes, ensuring that every meal meets our high standards of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimating and Controlling Food Costs: Accurately estimate the cost of ingredients and supplies, and maintain records of food costs, consumption, and sales.
  • Leading the Kitchen Team: Supervise and train cooks and other kitchen staff, ensuring that they are equipped to prepare and present high-quality dishes.
  • Menu Planning and Execution: Plan and execute menus that meet our quality standards, and ensure that all dishes are prepared and presented to the highest standards.
  • Inventory Management: Requisition food and kitchen supplies, and arrange for equipment purchases and repairs as needed.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, train, and manage a team of cooks and kitchen staff, ensuring that they are equipped to meet the demands of our kitchen.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role, or equivalent experience.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Hours: 30 hours per week.
