About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Painter to join our team at HUSKY TEAM PAINTING LTD. as an Exterior and Interior Specialist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted, ensuring a smooth finish and optimal paint adhesion.
  • Repair cracks and holes in walls and surfaces, using appropriate materials and techniques.
  • Mix paint to the desired color and texture, taking into account the specific requirements of each project.
  • Measure, cut, and apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls, ensuring a precise and professional finish.
  • Advise clients on colors and choice of wall coverings, providing expert recommendations and guidance.
  • Erect scaffolding and swing stages, and attach rigging, ensuring a safe and stable working environment.
  • Apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces, meeting the highest standards of quality and professionalism.
  • Estimate costs and materials, providing accurate and detailed quotes to clients.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work outdoors, often at heights, and in environments with strong odors.
  • Perform physically demanding tasks, including bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Handle weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs), requiring strength and endurance.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in painting and surface finishing.
  • Ability to distinguish between colors, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills, essential for precise work.
  • Client focus, flexibility, and reliability, with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week.
