About the Job

Husky Team Painting Ltd. is seeking a skilled and experienced Painter to join our team. As a Painter, you will be responsible for preparing, cleaning, and painting surfaces to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted
  • Repair cracks and holes in walls and surfaces
  • Mix paint to the desired colour and texture
  • Measure, cut, and apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls
  • Advise clients on colours and choice of wall coverings
  • Erect scaffolding and swing stages and attach rigging
  • Apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces
  • Estimate costs and materials required for each job
Work Environment

As a Painter with Husky Team Painting Ltd., you will work on a variety of projects, both interior and exterior. You will be required to work at heights and in outdoor environments, and may be exposed to odours and other hazards.

Requirements
  • Attention to detail and ability to work accurately
  • Hand-eye co-ordination and ability to distinguish between colours
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require bending, crouching, and kneeling
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
  • Steel-toed safety boots and uniform provided
