Account Executive, Enterprise Sales

Overview
The Account Executive is a field-based, direct sales role responsible for driving growth and expansion within existing client relationships. This role requires a consultative approach, working closely with C-level executives to develop and implement effective strategies that maximize the value delivered by Gartner's products and services.
Key Responsibilities- Account Management
- Develop and execute account plans to drive growth and expansion within existing client relationships
- Build and maintain strong relationships with C-level executives to ensure client satisfaction and retention
- Quota Responsibility
- Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets for a designated territory of major client accounts
- Sales Methodology
- Mastery and consistent execution of Gartner's sales methodology to drive sales success
- Forecasting and Planning
- Develop and maintain accurate sales forecasts and account plans to ensure business growth and expansion
- Competitive Knowledge
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments to maintain a competitive edge
- Experience
- 6-10 years of experience in consultative sales, preferably in high technology (services, software, or consultative environment)
- Skills
- Strong intellect, drive, executive presence, and sales acumen
- Proven experience building excellent client relationships at C-level within large enterprise organizations
- Strong computer proficiency and presentation skills
- Education
- Bachelor's or master's degree – desired
