Make a Difference in Northern Manitoba

We are seeking a highly skilled Paramedic to join our team as a Traveling Paramedic Specialist in Northern Manitoba. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of clinical settings and make a meaningful difference in the lives of those you serve.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality paramedic services to individuals, families, and groups in remote communities across Northern Manitoba. You will work closely with diverse Indigenous communities, including First Nations, Inuit, and Métis, and provide care to community members in Canada's remote Northern communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinic-based paramedic services and health guidance to individuals, families, and groups in remote communities
  • Work in small aircraft, off-road vehicles, snowmobiles, and other modes of transportation in varied weather conditions
  • Perform administrative duties associated with daily operations at the location of work
  • Relocate to locations of work defined in the above locations

Requirements:

  • Valid registration/licensure with the College of Paramedics of Manitoba or willingness to acquire this requirement
  • Malpractice insurance through the College of Paramedics of Manitoba
  • At least 1,950 regular working hours of experience accumulated in the past two years
  • Hold a clean and valid Class 4 Driver's License
  • Willingness to obtain a Reliability Status level security clearance
