Travel Risk Specialist

Sun Life Financial is seeking a highly skilled Travel Risk Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Physical Security and Crisis Management department, you will be responsible for executing our travel risk management, executive protection, and event security requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee event security and compile threat risk intelligence on geopolitical concerns, security risks, and travel risk to ensure traveler safety.
- Provide on-site support for high-profile events and meetings, including personnel protection, organizing movements, and supervising security contractors.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to provide relevant and timely situational awareness briefs and travel briefs.
- Create and maintain risk profiles on high-profile members of the organization.
- Prepare detailed event security risk assessments and security operational plans to support off-site events globally.
- Develop and maintain relationships with business leaders to ensure high-quality services meet objectives.
- Degree or diploma in security, investigation, or risk management, or comparable professional education/training.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in travel risk, event security, and executive protection.
- Professional designation in security or investigations management preferred.
Sun Life Financial offers a competitive salary range of $58,000 to $97,000, depending on location and experience. This role requires a Reliability Status Clearance, which requires 5 consecutive years of living and working in Canada.
