3D Production Leadership Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled 3D Production Leadership Manager to oversee the safe and efficient operation of our manufacturing facility. This hands-on position will be responsible for ensuring timely and high-quality production and shipment of products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and supervise production staff, ensuring efficient operation of all departments.
  • Schedule work for production staff, maintaining a balanced flow of work across departments.
  • Identify and resolve workflow problems, collaborating with production supervisors and line leaders.
  • Monitor machine usage and maintenance status, identifying areas for improvement in production and product development processing.
  • Maintain production levels, meeting sales forecast within budget requirements.
  • Ensure new orders are entered into the production schedule, disseminating necessary paperwork to each department.
  • Monitor production to ensure alignment with the production schedule.
  • Implement methods and procedures according to established company policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with other departments to maximize overall effectiveness and efficiency.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • 4-year degree in a related field.
  • 8 years' experience in operations management within a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of cut and sew industry, particularly in law enforcement or defense environments, is an asset.
  • Lean certification is desired.
  • Strong analytical and reasoning skills, with a clear understanding of cost of goods sold, profit/loss, and balance sheet relationships.
  • Experience working in an ISO-certified organization.
  • Proven supervisory, organizational, and leadership skills, with the ability to lead and motivate production staff.
  • Excellent oral communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of staff.
