Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced cook to join our team at 7132344 Canada Inc. as a key member of our kitchen staff. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, as well as supervising kitchen staff and helpers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, including special meals for patients as instructed by a dietitian or chef.
  • Supervision and Training: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, and train them in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
  • Inventory and Record-Keeping: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Cleaning and Organization: Clean kitchen and work areas, and organize buffets and banquets.
  • Security and Safety: Ensure basic security clearance and maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Will train, and a permanent position is available.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
