This role is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our delivery drivers, ensuring that they are equipped with the necessary tools and resources to perform their duties efficiently.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics and transportation, with experience in supervising teams and coordinating activities. They will be responsible for:

  • Recommending measures to improve work methods and processes
  • Supervising workers and projects to ensure timely completion and quality results
  • Training or arranging for training to enhance the skills of delivery drivers
  • Coordinating and scheduling activities to optimize productivity and efficiency
  • Ensuring that health and safety regulations are followed at all times
  • Coordinating repairs and rentals of equipment and vehicles
  • Requisitioning or ordering materials, equipment, and supplies as needed

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse team. They will also have a strong understanding of transportation regulations and laws, as well as experience with MS Access, MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook, and MS Word.

This is a permanent position, working 32 to 40 hours per week. The ideal candidate will be a team player with a flexible and organized approach to work. They will be bondable and have a strong commitment to safety and security.
