Job Title: Construction Site Supervisor - Landscape Construction

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Site Supervisor to join our team at Bluescape Contracting Inc. As a Construction Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction of decks, decorative or retaining walls, and other landscape installations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare production and other reports to ensure efficient project management
  • Recruit and hire workers and carry out related staffing actions to maintain a skilled and motivated team
  • Train or arrange for training to ensure workers have the necessary skills and knowledge to complete tasks safely and efficiently
  • Set up machines and equipment to ensure they are in good working order and meet safety standards
  • Estimate costs and materials to ensure projects are completed within budget
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed to prevent accidents and injuries
  • Recommend personnel actions to ensure the team is working effectively and efficiently
  • Read blueprints and drawings to understand project requirements and ensure accurate execution
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies to ensure timely completion of projects
  • Lead and instruct individuals to ensure tasks are completed safely and efficiently
  • Organize and direct the construction of decks, decorative or retaining walls, and other landscape installations
  • Fit and weld parts together to ensure a high-quality finish
  • Build patios, garden walls, and other decorative installations to meet client requirements
  • Assist with landscape constructions to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Plan, manage, and supervise landscape construction work to ensure high-quality results
  • Create three-dimensional (3-D) models with computer-aided design (CAD) to visualize project requirements
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in landscape construction
  • Valid driver's license to ensure timely transportation to and from job sites
  • Steel-toed safety boots, hard hat, and safety glasses/goggles to ensure a safe working environment
  • Excellent oral communication skills to effectively communicate with team members and clients
  • Organized and reliable to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Team player to work effectively with team members to achieve project goals
