We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Site Supervisor to join our team at Bluescape Contracting Inc. As a Construction Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction of various landscape projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Project Management: Plan, coordinate, and execute landscape construction projects from start to finish.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and train a team of laborers, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular site inspections to ensure that projects meet the required quality standards.
- Health and Safety: Ensure that all site personnel follow health and safety protocols and procedures.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed to their satisfaction.
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and repair equipment and tools to ensure that they are in good working condition.
- Material Management: Manage and control materials, supplies, and equipment to ensure that they are used efficiently and effectively.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in landscape construction.
- Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills, ability to work under pressure, and knowledge of health and safety protocols and procedures.
- Equipment and Machinery Experience: Skidsteer and welding experience.
- Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver's license.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift heavy objects.
