Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada The University of British Columbia Full time

The University of British Columbia, one of Canada's top universities, is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Coordinator for Undergraduate Programs to join its Electrical and Computer Engineering department. Located in Vancouver, our university offers an exceptional student experience with over 1,100 undergraduate and 400 graduate students enrolled in its degree programs.

As an Administrative Coordinator for Undergraduate Programs, you will play a key role in supporting the smooth operation of undergraduate programs, ensuring a positive experience for students. This includes tasks such as course registration, academic scheduling, adjudication of awards, student engagement initiatives, curriculum administration, and other program support duties. With minimal supervision, you will independently manage tasks, prioritize multiple responsibilities, and exercise sound judgment when dealing with complex situations.

Your excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, will enable you to effectively respond to inquiries from current and prospective students, while maintaining confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information.

In addition to your technical skills, you will have the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision, exercise tact and discretion, and handle confidential matters with professionalism. A strong commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion, along with a willingness to enhance your awareness and knowledge in these areas, are essential qualities for this position.

We offer a competitive salary of approximately $63,000 per year, based on relevant experience. If you are a motivated individual with a passion for delivering exceptional student experiences, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
