Description:

Belcan Corporation is seeking a Senior Human Resources Business Partner to provide strategic guidance in manpower management, talent attraction and retention, succession planning, leadership development, organizational development, diversity, equity & inclusion, performance management, training, and compensation and benefits.

As a Senior HRBP, you will:

  1. Develop and implement human resource management strategies to align with business objectives.
  2. Act as a facilitator in communications, resolving issues between management and employees, and promoting strategic alignment.
  3. Implement and execute human resource management strategies to support business objectives and the global mission of Belcan Corporation.
  4. Coach managers through challenging performance management situations and support them in developing and communicating plans to address areas of improvement.
  5. Proactively manage operations manpower tracking and trends to forecast resource requirements based on operational capacity.
  6. Establish strong relationships with customer groups by creating engaging employee networks.
  7. Objectively assess and resolve employee relations issues, partnering with legal and ethics committees as needed.
  8. Analyze employee relations trends and recommend proactive strategies, solutions, programs, and policies.
  9. Act as a key opinion leader and first point of contact for employee conflict resolution.
  10. Advise, support, and coach managers and employees on HR-related policies and processes.

Requirements:

  1. Post-secondary education in human resources at a recognized educational institution.
  2. Strong experience partnering with operations-level client groups and manufacturing employees.
  3. Minimum of 5-7 years of applicable HR experience.
  4. Minimum of 3-5 years in a non-unionized manufacturing environment with experience dealing with manufacturing employees of all levels.
  5. Strong customer-facing experience and ability to adjust communication styles between employees, supervisors/managers, and senior facility leadership.
  6. Proven investigatory experience and ability to make sound judgments and conclusions based on facts.

Skills and Knowledge:

  1. Excellent time management skills with an ability to balance day-to-day deliverables and special projects.
  2. Ability to influence managers at all levels of the organization.
  3. High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
