Job Skills / Requirements

As a People and Culture Lead in our Ottawa and Kingston regions, you'll play a key role in supporting daily HR operations. This includes the full employee experience cycle, including hiring, development, and retention of our security team members.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with branch operations to meet recruitment requirements in a collaborative manner.
  • Provide guidance to the Kingston and Ottawa portfolios with direct support for the Ottawa branch.
  • Support management in developing HR solutions and strategies.
  • Share knowledge and insight with HR and operations teams.
  • Assist in implementing provincial projects and programs within the Kingston/Ottawa portfolio.
  • Resolve issues timely with tact while maintaining a high standard of integrity and professionalism.
  • Provide functional oversight for a P&C Team Member supporting the Kingston branch.
  • Participate in HR initiatives like career fairs and community events as required.
  • Travel may be required for client site visits and job fairs.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Post-secondary education in human resources, business administration, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3-5+ years' experience in a full-cycle Human Resources role, ideally in security, healthcare, or a related industry.
  • CHRP designation is an asset, but not required.
