About the Role:

This hybrid position offers the perfect blend of office and remote work, with a minimum of two days in our Waterloo, ON office every other week, plus an additional day per month. As an Insurance Advisor, you will play a vital role in helping clients achieve their financial goals by providing expert insurance and investment planning services.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with Equitable employees and clients, identifying opportunities to enhance their financial well-being through life, health, and savings products.
  • Deliver exceptional client service, ensuring seamless support for existing products and personalized solutions for new needs.
  • Collaborate with the Manager, ELAS, to drive workflow efficiency and prioritize employee support plans.
  • Maintain compliance with CLHIA guidelines, company policies, and procedures.
  • Nurture partnerships with RSMs to deliver elite leads and support the orphan block initiative.
  • Conduct comprehensive insurance and investment planning services for EQ employees and their families.
  • Possess a valid Life Insurance license in Ontario (candidates without a license will complete the LLQP exam within 6 months).
  • Hold Life licenses in other provinces, as required.
  • Demonstrate success in sales and service roles within Financial Services.
  • Showcase direct client service experience and extensive knowledge of insurance products.
  • Excel in time management and administration skills, maintaining accurate client files and regulatory expectations.
