About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team at Paddy's Oneil's. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Budget Management: Analyze and develop budgets to optimize restaurant profits, including cost of food, ingredients, and supplies.
  • Operations Oversight: Evaluate daily operations, modify food preparation methods and menu prices as needed, and monitor revenues to determine labor costs.
  • Staff Management: Supervise staff, plan and organize daily operations, set work schedules, and ensure staff performance meets expectations.
  • Cash Handling and Reporting: Balance cash, complete balance sheets, and maintain accurate records.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations, and ensure health and safety standards are met.
  • Supplier Negotiations: Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies.
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints, provide exceptional service, and manage events.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Work Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a restaurant setting.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 32.5 hours per week.
