Position Overview

The Assistant Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Management: Analyze financial data to enhance and sustain the restaurant's profitability.
  • Budget Development: Create budgets to assess costs related to food, beverages, and supplies.
  • Operational Evaluation: Review daily operations to ensure efficiency and quality.
  • Menu Management: Adjust food preparation techniques and pricing in accordance with budgetary guidelines.
  • Revenue Monitoring: Track income to manage labor costs effectively.
  • Staff Oversight: Supervise and evaluate staff performance, including scheduling and training.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare cash balances and financial reports as required.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to local liquor laws and health regulations.
  • Supplier Negotiation: Engage with suppliers to secure favorable terms for food and supplies.
  • Client Relations: Negotiate catering arrangements and facility usage with clients.
  • Marketing Participation: Contribute to the development and execution of marketing strategies.
  • Customer Service: Address customer inquiries and complaints to maintain high satisfaction levels.
  • Event Management: Organize and oversee events hosted at the restaurant.

Physical and Work Conditions

Experience Requirements

Ideal candidates will have between 1 to 7 months of relevant experience in a similar role. This is a permanent position requiring approximately 32.5 hours of work per week.
