Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team at NB Inc. As a key member of our culinary staff, you will be responsible for managing kitchen operations, supervising staff, and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet the demands of our restaurant and catering firm clients.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Order supplies and equipment to maintain inventory levels and support kitchen operations.
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient workflow and effective use of resources.
  • Maintain accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment to inform purchasing decisions and optimize kitchen efficiency.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this position is estimated to be $45,000 - $55,000 per annum, depending on experience. Benefits include free parking, paid hours (30-40 hours/week), and a permanent employment contract with NB Inc.
