Regional Business Development Manager

Planet Fitness is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Business Development Manager to join our team. This key role will drive sales and profit plans to budget through successful leadership, organizational plans, customer service, and execution of all field operations consistently across a group of Planet Fitness locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage multiple retail locations independently, driving business results and meeting performance metrics.
  • Analyze and manage financial results to ensure maximum profits while balancing member and team satisfaction.
  • Monitor progress towards region goals and assign employees to meet those objectives.
  • Ensure clubs are open and staffed appropriately, clean, inventory levels are appropriate, and equipment is working properly.
  • Foster strong leadership, communication, and motivational skills to develop and maintain high-performing management teams.
  • Demonstrate excellent business acumen, forecasting, and management skills to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Cultivate a culture of 5-star customer service and promote a positive work environment.
  • Develop and implement effective operational and visual merchandising strategies to drive sales and increase brand awareness.
  • Maintain in-depth understanding of sanitary, safety, and health standards to ensure compliance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in marketing, sales, management, or a similar discipline from a four-year university or equivalent experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience serving in a general manager role in a multi-unit retail environment.
  • Proven track record of managing and developing productive management teams.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and motivational skills to drive business results and develop high-performing teams.
  • Strong business acumen, forecasting, and management skills to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Possess a clean driving license and reside in the market you are managing.

About Us:

  • We offer a competitive salary ranging from $120,000 to $180,000 per year, depending on experience.
