Business Development Manager

As a key member of the Staples Canada team, you will be responsible for providing leadership and direction to a team of retail professionals. Your primary focus will be on building a customer-centric culture within the store, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment, and driving business growth through effective sales and marketing strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute business development strategies to drive sales growth and customer engagement
- Provide coaching and development opportunities to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge
- Collaborate with district and regional teams to align store operations with company goals and objectives
- Manage store operations, including inventory management, customer service, and loss prevention
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as legislative and regulatory requirements
Requirements:
- 5 years of retail management experience, with a focus on customer experience and business development
- Proven track record of driving sales growth and improving customer satisfaction
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred
