Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team at Symposium Café Restaurant and Lounge. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our staff are well-trained and motivated.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operations Management: Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant, including managing staff, inventory, and supplies.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that customers receive exceptional service, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Staff Management: Supervise and train staff to ensure that they are well-equipped to provide excellent service to customers.
  • Financial Management: Manage the restaurant's finances, including balancing cash and completing balance sheets and cash reports.
  • Marketing and Promotion: Participate in marketing plans and implementation to promote the restaurant and attract new customers.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that the restaurant meets all health and safety regulations, including conducting regular inspections and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a restaurant management role.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills, ability to multitask and work under pressure, and proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office, and MS Outlook.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks.
