About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Terra Restaurant & Catering Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our restaurant, maintaining high standards of quality and customer service, and leading a team of staff to achieve our goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Operations and Logistics: Establish methods to meet work schedules, maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare and submit reports.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, and ensure that all customers receive a high level of service.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and check assembly of trays, and establish work schedules.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant.
  • Security and Safety: Criminal record check.
  • Transportation/Travel Information: Public transportation is available.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, standing for extended periods, and attention to detail.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, team player, initiative, and dependability.
