Insurance Sales and Business Development Specialist

Overview
The Insurance Sales and Business Development Specialist will be responsible for prospecting and up-selling insurance lines of business to clients, maintaining a work-life balance, and meeting/exceeding sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect and up-sell to clients on all lines of business sold.
- Work and life balance with flexibility to create your own schedule to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Consistently generate quality new business by networking and building Centers of Influence to ensure a consistent stream of referral business.
- Promote retention by building strong relationships and providing quality advice to prospects and customers for long-term sustainable growth.
- Navigate multiple insurance partner online portals to complete customer applications.
- Meet and exceed sales and retention targets.
- Collaborate with insurance company Underwriters to ensure evolving guidelines are met.
- Liaise between client and external insurance partners to ensure fair and proper representation for both parties.
- Continuous self-development, through industry and community involvement, and industry-related courses.
