We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team as a Senior Pediatric Nurse Practitioner.

Shared Health leads the planning and coordination of patient-centered clinical and preventive health services across Manitoba. Our organization delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations.

Role Summary

As a Senior Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing professional registered nursing services for patients, including those with complex and unpredictable health needs. Your expertise in pediatric care will enable you to lead the healthcare team and facilitate coordination of patient care and discharge.

Responsibilities

  • Provide independent nursing services to pediatric patients
  • Administer prescribed medical treatments as required
  • Lead the healthcare team in delivering high-quality patient care
  • Facilitate coordination of patient care and discharge

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A graduate degree in Nursing from an approved education program
  • Recent pediatric experience with a satisfactory employment record
  • Maintenance of registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (CRNM)
  • Active participation in professional associations, such as the Association of Regulated Nurses of Manitoba (ARNM)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba Standards of Practice for Registered Nurses
  • Canadian Nurses Association Code of Ethics for Registered Nurses
  • Scope of practice as documented in the Regulated Health Professions Act (RHPA)
  • Nursing care knowledge related to clinical area

Compensation Package

The estimated annual salary for this position is approximately $80,000 - $110,000 based on location and experience.
