About the Role

The Fort McKay First Nation is seeking a highly skilled and organized individual to fill the position of Executive Assistant. As a key member of the Corporate Services Department, the successful candidate will provide administrative support to the CEO, Chief, and Council, ensuring the efficient operation of the office. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide administrative support to the CEO, Chief, and Council, including scheduling, correspondence, and data entry.
  2. Manage various administrative duties, such as meeting coordination, travel arrangements, and expense reports.
  3. Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date records and databases.
  4. Assist in the coordination of band member concerns and requests, and provide support for special events as required.
  5. Represent the executive by attending meetings and speaking on their behalf when necessary.

Requirements
  1. Diploma in Business Administration, Office Administration, or related field.
  2. Five years of direct work experience in an executive assistant capacity.
  3. Hands-on experience with productivity applications, including word processing, spreadsheets, email clients, and presentation software.
  4. Previous experience in handling confidential or sensitive information.
  5. Clean Criminal Record Check and valid Class Five driver's license required.
