Job Title: Registered Nurse
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at Trillium Health Partners. As a key member of our operating room team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our surgical services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care and support to patients undergoing surgical procedures
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient operating room operations
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in perioperative nursing
- Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment that promotes teamwork and excellence in patient care
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of recent or current OR experience required
- Successful completion of a recognized perioperative nursing course from an approved teaching institution required
- Demonstrated clinical competence in nursing practice
- Certification in sanctioned medical acts and added nursing skills
- Current BCLS and CPR Certification required
- Reliable and flexible individual to work as part of a diverse work team
- Ability to think critically and effectively in order to prioritize needs in emergency situations
- Highly effective decision making, problem solving and organizational skills combined with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written
- Positive attendance and work record essential
