Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our esteemed Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) team at Trillium Health Partners. This role is pivotal in delivering exceptional patient care within a dynamic surgical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Adhere to performance standards as outlined by the College of Nurses and internal policies.
- Collaborate effectively with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain a high level of clinical competence and contribute to the overall success of the operating room.
Qualifications:
- Current registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Proven clinical expertise in nursing practice, particularly in a cardiac operating room setting.
- A minimum of two years of experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Completion of a recognized Operating Room Certificate course.
- Certification in relevant medical acts and advanced nursing skills.
- Current BCLS and CPR certification is mandatory.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated reliability and flexibility in a fast-paced environment.
