Job Title: Registered Nurse

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Operating Room team at Trillium Health Partners. The successful candidate will have 3-5 years of recent or current OR experience and a recognized certificate course from an approved teaching institution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet performance standards as outlined by the College of Nurses and by Trillium Health Partners' policies and procedures
  • Meet performance standards established by ORNAC (Operating Room Nurses Association of Canada)
  • Contribute to the overall surgical operating room team

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of recent or current OR experience
  • Successful completion of a recognized certificate course from an approved teaching institution
  • Demonstrated clinical competence in nursing practice
  • Certification in sanctioned medical acts and added nursing skills
  • Current BCLS and CPR Certification
  • Reliable and flexible individual to work as part of a diverse work team
  • Ability to think critically and effectively in emergency situations
  • Highly effective decision making, problem solving and organizational skills combined with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Positive attendance and work record
