Homes First Society is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Program Manager to oversee community engagement initiatives.

With our mission of developing and providing affordable housing and support services, we aim to break the cycle of homelessness in our community. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in designing, implementing, and evaluating programs that cater to the unique needs of our residents.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to effectively prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in a supervisory role in a unionized setting is an asset. A strong understanding of relevant laws, standards, and guidelines related to social services is also essential.

This position requires someone who can work collaboratively with staff, residents, and external agencies to ensure seamless delivery of services. You will be responsible for gathering feedback from stakeholders, connecting with external service providers, monitoring ongoing programs, and creating communication strategies to keep everyone informed.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years' experience working with marginalized populations, including those experiencing homelessness and addiction. A post-secondary education in a related field or equivalent experience is required. Certifications in first aid, CPR, crisis prevention, and intervention are considered assets.
