Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Program Manager, Community Support to join our team at Wellspring Cancer Support Foundation.

About Us

Wellspring is a network of community-based support centres providing programs that meet the emotional, practical, physical, informational, and functional needs of individuals and families living with cancer. Our mission is to help people affected by cancer live better lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • On-site Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of our support centre in Toronto, ensuring seamless delivery of programming and services.
  • Volunteer Resource Management: Recruit, train, schedule, mentor, and recognize local volunteers to support our mission.
  • Customer Service: Provide front-line support to people with cancer and their loved ones, including program referrals, coordination of services, and more.
  • Stakeholder Relations: Build and maintain relationships with professionals working with hospitals and community groups to enhance our services.
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of related experience in motivating and supervising volunteers, and providing support to people living with health concerns.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • High degree of organizational capability, with good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Understanding of the impact of cancer on individuals and families.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to varying demands.
  • Fluency in English.

  • This is a full-time position with benefits located on site at 105 Wellness Way in Toronto.
Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this role is $60,000 - $80,000, depending on experience.
