About the Job

We are seeking a Registered Practical Nurse to join our team at VON Canada (Victorian Order of Nurses). As a Registered Practical Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support.

Job Overview
  • This is a full-time opportunity with a 75-hour bi-weekly schedule.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for providing nursing care to clients in their homes or other community settings.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities
  • Providing direct patient care and support in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Assessing patients' physical and emotional needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans.
  • Maintaining accurate and detailed records of patient care and progress.

You will also have the opportunity to participate in professional development and education, staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices.

Requirements
  • A minimum of a diploma in Practical Nursing from an accredited program.
  • Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
  • Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $85,000 - $95,000 per year, based on experience and location.
