Job Title: Medical Office Assistant

At Medicentres Canada Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Office Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Office Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service to our patients, while also supporting our physicians and medical staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to physicians and medical staff, including answering phones, greeting patients, and registering them for appointments.
  • Manage patient records, including scanning documents into electronic medical records and maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Perform various administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, sending reminders, and preparing patient charts.
  • Assist with clinical tasks, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and escorting patients to exam rooms.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including exam rooms and administrative areas.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; medical office assistant qualification an asset.
  • Recent customer service experience and excellent communication skills required.
  • Experience with electronic medical records and medical terminology an asset.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
