About the Role

The Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Administrator plays a crucial role in ensuring the well-being of Avmax employees and the company's commitment to safety excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain HSE data, statistics, and reporting requirements.
  • Maintain the company's HSE hazard registry.
  • Coordinate Health and Safety Representatives and Fire Warden activities.
  • Research and develop health and safety programs as needed.
  • Oversee and update the HSE SharePoint site.
  • Create imaging and messages for TV displays.
  • Develop and revise documents, postings, and manuals.
  • Attend Calgary location floor meetings and present at meetings as required.
  • Maintain Health and Safety boards in all Calgary locations.
  • Collaborate with the Training Coordinator on new hire onboarding and course development.
  • Maintain non-aviation vendor status, verify WCB clearance, and insurance requirements.
Requirements
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well with individuals at all levels of the organization.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Marketing experience is an asset.
  • Experience in Health and Safety is an asset but not required.
