We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced cook to join our team at Basha Laplaine. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for planning menus, estimating food requirements, and managing kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and prepare menus that meet the needs of our customers, including those with food allergies or intolerances.
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies, ensuring that we have the necessary ingredients and equipment to deliver high-quality dishes.
- Maintain accurate inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring that we are always stocked and ready to serve.
- Clean and maintain the kitchen and work areas, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Manage kitchen operations, including supervising staff and ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
- Excellent culinary skills, with a focus on Lebanese cuisine and gluten-free options.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers.
- Ability to work overtime, including evenings and weekends, as required.
