Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bilingual Proposal Development Manager to join our team at Philips. As a key member of our proposal management team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the opportunity development and proposal strategy to secure commercial offers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proposal Lifecycle Management: Manage the proposal lifecycle autonomously, from bid search to submission, ensuring timely and budget-friendly delivery of high-quality proposals.
  • Team Leadership: Assemble and lead a team of Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) from various departments, including sales, marketing, IT, contracts, and senior leadership, to develop winning proposal strategies.
  • Proposal Development: Own the direct development of proposal structure and content, utilizing existing resources and creating customized content to support agreed-upon strategies.
  • Document Management: Maintain all related documents, schedules, project calls, and meetings, recognizing signs of project/proposal risk and proactively addressing them.
  • Compliance and Quality: Conduct compliance, quality, and competitive reviews to ensure proposals meet Philips' standards.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and execute opportunities for improvement within Philips' continuous improvement framework, utilizing Lean methodologies.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Business, Marketing, or a Liberal Arts field, particularly English.
  • Experience: 3+ years of proposal management or relevant experience.
  • Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, strong influencing skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Certifications: PMP, CAPM, and/or APMP Foundation-level certification is preferred.
  • Language: English and French required.
