Alstom is a leading company in the mobility sector, and we are looking for a talented individual to join our team as an Aftermarket Parts Engineering Manager.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, verifying, and validating parts solutions for over 300 contracts. You will also contribute to the aggressive growth of the Parts & Components business and reduce the backlog.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Effectively communicating with upper management through KPIs and presentations
  • Applying knowledge to design, verify, and validate parts solutions
  • Participating in the growth of the Parts & Components business and reducing the backlog
  • Ensuring parts proposals meet customer specifications
  • Staying up-to-date with project specifications and requirements
  • Interfacing with customers through meetings, travel, and presentations
  • Maintaining knowledge of rail, mechanical, and electrical-electronic norms and standards
  • Leading bids proposals for repair, redesign, and overhaul of electrical equipment and parts
  • Leading process improvement initiatives to optimize workflow and time to quote

Requirements include:

  • Excellent communication skills and leadership experience
  • Experience in rail industry standards and design or similar industry products
  • Experience in aftermarket, reverse engineering, and/or repair

We are looking for a leader who is autonomous, hands-on, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Preferred qualifications include project management experience, knowledge of safety management systems, and proficiency in design tools and ERP systems.
