Job Description

We are seeking an Intermediate to Senior Level Electrical Engineer to join our team in Toronto, ON. As a key member of our multi-disciplined consulting engineering firm, you will work on various projects, collaborating with clients to meet their needs. Your role will involve designing, testing, developing, and supervising the manufacturing of electrical systems, as well as dealing with diverse electrical structures within buildings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement electrical system designs, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards.
  • Conduct site investigations, prepare reports, and provide recommendations for upgrading electrical equipment or systems.
  • Liaise with clients to understand their objectives and provide tailored solutions.
  • Lead others, mentor junior staff (EIT), and contribute to business development through service promotion.
Required Qualifications
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
  • P.Eng. designation in Ontario, mandatory.
  • Relevant work experience in the multi-unit residential/condominium sector or equivalent.
  • Working knowledge of the Ontario Building Code, Canadian Electrical Code, Ontario Electrical Safety Code 24th Edition, CSA, C282-05 Emergency Electrical Power Supply for Buildings, CAN/ULC-S524-06 Installation of Fire Alarm Systems, and Occupational Health and Safety Act.
  • Experience working with medium and high-voltage systems above 750v.
  • Strong technical report writing skills and proficiency in MS applications (Word, Excel) and CAD.
  • Familiarity with drafting proposals, scope of work documentation, and bid analysis.
Estimated Salary

$85,000 - $115,000 per year, based on experience.
