Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team at Unisys. As a key member of our support team, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our clients, ensuring that their enterprise systems and applications are running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for enterprise systems and applications, including incident and service request management.
  • Interact with clients via phone, chat, and email to resolve technical issues and provide support.
  • Perform remote technical support and work with clients to identify and resolve technical issues.
  • Collaborate with other service providers to ensure that client service levels and technical requirements are met.
  • Conduct root cause analysis of recurring problems and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and ensure that it is clear, current, and accurate.
  • Identify relevant training needs and conduct training sessions for other analysts.
Requirements
  • University degree or equivalent combination of training, education, and experience.
  • 1-2 years of relevant IT experience, preferably in a support capacity.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to think outside the box to troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Development experience with SQL, preferably SQL Server or Oracle.
  • Experience supporting enterprise systems or COTS software application suites.
  • Development experience with Crystal or similar reporting software.
  • Experience with Microsoft Word merge template development.
  • Experience supporting web applications built using JSP, JS, Java,.NET, REST, and SOAP services.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience working in a Service Desk environment following ITIL processes.
  • AMANDA Product Suite experience.
  • Knowledge of Tomcat and/or Weblogic environments from a developer perspective.
  • Experience with Groovy programming language.
  • Experience working with Unix scripts/commands.
