About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Scenic Operations Project Manager to join our team at Scene Ideas Inc. This role will be responsible for overseeing and managing the operations department, ensuring seamless communication between different departments, and coordinating the completion of key client projects.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in operations and project management, with a minimum of five years of professional experience in a similar position. They will possess excellent organizational and time management skills, as well as the ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing workloads.

This salaried position comes with an estimated annual salary of $80,000 - $100,000, depending on experience. The successful candidate will also have access to comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as liaison between Sales Team and shop, warehouse, crew chiefs, etc.
  • Work in conjunction with Sales Team to assist in the timely and efficient dissemination of information for all projects.
  • Assist the Sales team as required on large projects in the quoting / costing phase.
  • Develop a feasible plan for each project that includes key timelines, budget parameters and objectives for all project elements.
  • Oversee the financials for each project from initial budget development to final reconciliation.
  • Coordinate and task relevant internal resources and third parties/suppliers for the flawless execution of projects.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in operations and project management.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of professional experience in a similar position.
  • BA or BS in relevant field; certification in project management / or working knowledge of production in event industry would be assets.
  • Strong computer skills on PC and Mac including great working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Vectorworks.
  • High aptitude for learning new computer programs / software.
