Executive Operations Manager

Sodexo Energy & Resources is seeking a seasoned Executive Operations Manager to lead facilities operations for a major oil and gas company based in Richmond, California. As the critical component of our agile transformation journey with this client, you will be responsible for overseeing all services provided by Sodexo and managing several of the Client's critical business processes.

With your proven leadership skills and technical expertise in Facilities Management, you will enhance existing client programs through short- and long-range planning, construction/renovation projects, preventative and corrective maintenance, energy management, grounds and landscaping, janitorial, mail room operations, shipping and receiving, laboratory services, and data center management services.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Monitoring operations through regular visits to each operating account to plan projects and implement new processes, client interactions, and technology to ensure sufficient resources
  • Developing business plans and budgets that support system and district goals, collaborating with account DFOs to achieve these objectives
  • Reviewing and analyzing financial statements and other financial information to ensure attainment of financial goals for both the client and Sodexo
  • Serving as the central point of contact for client liaison, promoting a solid business partnership and assisting in contract negotiations
  • Maintaining quality and company standards, reviewing reports to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and Sodexo/System Client policies and procedures
  • Responsibility for succession planning, employee development, diversity initiatives, training, constructive counseling, promoting workplace diversity initiatives, and providing strategic leadership to maintain client satisfaction and retention

You will possess:

  • Strong technical knowledge of building automation systems, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, structural, safety systems, architectural, landscape, and energy management
  • A proven track record of successful Facilities Management leadership experience, demonstrated by articulated results and accomplishments
  • Demonstrated business and financial acumen in utilizing and managing contract financials
  • A high level of self-awareness, maturity, and ambition to grow the business with laser focus on employees and clients
  • Strong leadership skills with a focus on staff development and team building
  • Certified Facilities Manager (CFM) is a plus, and a bachelor's degree in engineering or related fields is preferred
