Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Construction Site Operations Manager to oversee large-scale mechanical and electrical projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of project management, safety regulations, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Schedule and Plan Construction Activities: Collaborate with the Project Manager to schedule and plan construction activities, ensuring timely completion and compliance with company standards.
  • Progress Reports: Provide regular progress reports to the Construction Project Manager, highlighting key milestones and potential issues.
  • Site Management: Oversee daily sign-ins and sign-outs via Sitemax, ensure safe working conditions, and maintain accurate records.
  • Material Coordination: Coordinate material requirements with the Project Coordinator on a weekly basis, ensuring seamless execution of construction plans.
  • Meetings and Minutes: Attend and actively participate in site meetings with trades and engineers, record and maintain minutes for bi-weekly engineer-driven meetings.
  • Trade Supervision: Supervise and ensure the quality of trades' work and installations, address and resolve any issues that arise.
  • Daily Activities: Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the daily activities of trades, manage work coordination with subcontractors, and ensure compliance with company standards.
  • SVR and SI: Follow up on SVR and SI to ensure trade completeness and QA, ensure that trades complete work according to POs and COs.
Requirements:
  • Experience: 15+ years of experience as a Construction Site Superintendent, with a focus on large mechanical and electrical projects.
  • Educational Background: A degree or diploma in a related field, along with relevant bonding and certifications.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Strong negotiation, conflict resolution, and people management skills, in-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations, experience in preparing and conducting post-implementation evaluations, proven ability to create realistic schedules and ensure timely project completion.
