About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Executive Vice President of Operations to join our team at Richmond Pallet Picker Corporation. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the strategic direction and operational efficiency of our goods production, utilities, transportation, and construction departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Resource Allocation: Allocate material, human, and financial resources to implement organizational policies and programs, ensuring optimal utilization and minimizing waste.
  • Department Establishment: Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions, aligning with the company's strategic objectives.
  • Regional Coordination: Co-ordinate the work of regions, divisions, or departments, fostering collaboration and ensuring seamless execution of tasks.
  • Financial and Administrative Controls: Establish financial and administrative controls, formulate and approve promotional campaigns, and approve overall human resources planning, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Organizational Objectives: Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs, aligning with the company's mission and vision.
  • Representation: Represent the organization, or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization, in negotiations or other official functions, maintaining a positive and professional image.
  • Leadership Development: Select middle managers, directors, or other executive staff, delegate the necessary authority, and create optimum working conditions, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP degree or equivalent.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a senior leadership role, preferably in the goods production, utilities, transportation, and construction industries.
Area of Specialization
  • Operations Management: Proven expertise in operations management, with a focus on efficiency, productivity, and quality.
Security and Safety
  • Criminal Record Check: Must undergo a criminal record check, as required by company policy.
