About the Role:This full-time position will be working in our ultrasound department, operating advanced imaging equipment to produce and record images of internal organs and tissues. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to effectively interact with patients, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate ultrasound imaging equipment to produce and record images of internal organs and tissues;
- Analyze images to identify normal and abnormal conditions;
- Prepare examination reports for physicians, including written descriptions of findings and recommendations for further testing or treatment;
- Maintain accurate records of patient information, exam results, and follow-up procedures;
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care;
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with advancements in technology and best practices.
- Degree in Medical Imaging Technology or related field;
- Registration with the Canadian Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (CSDMS) as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS);
- Minimum 2 years of experience in diagnostic imaging, preferably in an ultrasound setting;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
The successful candidate will work in a state-of-the-art facility with access to advanced imaging equipment and technology. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required for occasional travel between locations.
Compensation and Benefits:We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a pension plan and paid time off.
