Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Technologist to join our team at the IWK Health in Halifax, Nova Scotia. As a Medical Laboratory Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing lab services for diagnostic purposes that support clinical care, academic, and research needs.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing analytical analysis, communicating effectively with other IWK departments, and ensuring the highest quality of care. You will work within established protocols for testing, maintenance, quality control, and calibration and frequently interact with computerized information systems.

About the Role

This is a permanent hourly position (100% FTE) working 5-hour shifts, rotating days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills.
