About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager to join our team at Taste of Nature Foods Inc. As a key member of our Operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and reliable operation of our plant equipment, developing and executing a condition-based preventative maintenance program, and overseeing mechanical and electrical maintenance repairs.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that all equipment is maintained in a Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) manner to ensure food safety and quality of products.
  2. Preventive Maintenance: Develop and conduct a condition-based preventive maintenance program to ensure line uptime of more than 97%.
  3. Maintenance Management: Manage work assignments, maintain accurate maintenance records, and lead all maintenance resources.
  4. Equipment Overhaul: Schedule and execute equipment overhauls as required with minimal disruption to production.
  5. Inventory Management: Track expenses, oversee the budget for maintenance, and manage equipment/spare parts stock.
  6. Team Leadership: Allocate workload, supervise the work, and manage staff performance.
  7. Collaboration: Collaborate with the Manufacturing Engineer to install, calibrate, and maintain systems that measure production Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Requirements
  1. Experience: 5+ years' experience in maintenance management role with food manufacturing/packaging experience.
  2. Education: A valid Millwright license and/or engineering degree strongly preferred.
  3. Skills: Excellent people leadership and maintenance management skills, strong knowledge of engineering concepts, and experience in deploying a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
