About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cleaning and Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Mazy's Maintenance & Cleaning Services. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the cleaning and maintenance of our clients' facilities, ensuring a high level of quality and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hire, train, and supervise a team of cleaning staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Inspect facilities to ensure they meet our high standards of cleanliness and safety.
  • Prepare and manage budgets and cost estimates for cleaning and maintenance projects.
  • Recommend and arrange for additional services such as painting, repair work, and renovations as needed.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and receive payment for specialized cleaning jobs.
  • Assist cleaners in performing their duties and coordinate work activities with other departments.
  • Establish work schedules and ensure that all tasks are completed on time.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory role, preferably in the cleaning and maintenance industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, clients, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks that require manual dexterity and the ability to lift heavy loads.
