Administrative Support Professional

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Support Professional to join our team in London, Sarnia, Chatham, Strathroy, Woodstock, or Windsor offices.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a Co-op Student or Intern to gain hands-on experience in office administration. As an Administrative Support Professional, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our administrative team, including welcoming and directing visitors, processing payments, and managing mail and courier requirements.
You will also have the opportunity to work independently and follow through on assignments and special projects with minimal direction. Your strong communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to build rapport with clients and colleagues alike.
Key Responsibilities- Welcome and direct visitors, route phone calls, process payments, and direct inquiries to proper departments or individuals in a timely and professional manner.
- Manage mail and courier requirements for delivery and pickup, including maintenance of spreadsheets for tracking purposes.
- Provide general administrative support for our administrative team, including assisting professional staff.
- Proofread financial statements and letters for grammatical, typographical, and formatting errors.
- Work independently and follow through on assignments and special projects with minimal direction.
- Work with Workday for file and project management.
- Perform other administrative duties as required, including backup reception, mailing/courier, and aiding other admin staff.

Requirements- Currently working towards a degree/diploma in administration.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong organization and time management skills.
- Developed communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Proven ability to be a self-starter and work independently.
- Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and positive attitude within the office.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite is considered an asset.
- Prior customer service or administrative experience is also considered to be an asset.
