Salary:


The salary for this position ranges from $50.19 to $64.93 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.



Job Description:


We are seeking a highly skilled Child Adolescent Mental Health Therapist to join our team. The successful candidate will provide evidence-based assessments, consultations, and interventions for youth aged 3-19 years old. They will work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care and support.



Responsibilities:



  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions to children and adolescents
  • Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders
  • Promote a safe and inclusive environment for all patients and staff


Required Skills and Qualifications:



  • Ph.D./Psy.D. degree in Clinical Psychology from an accredited university program
  • Completion of an APA or CPA-accredited Predoctoral Internship in Psychology
  • Registration with the Nova Scotia Board of Examiners in Psychology
  • Formal training and clinical experience in child/adolescent mental health
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
