We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Specialist to join our team at LifeLabs. As a Medical Laboratory Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing accurate and timely diagnostic testing and reporting services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct a wide range of diagnostic and interpretive specimen testing
- Perform, interpret, and release test results while ensuring patient confidentiality
- Identify incidents and non-conformities, participate in corrective action plans, and drive continuous improvement
- Assist with the evaluation and implementation of new technology
- Participate in problem-solving and workflow optimization
Requirements:
- College diploma or University degree in Medical Laboratory Science or equivalent education and/or experience
- CMLTO registration
- Excellent communication and computer skills
- Problem-solving skills and ability to maintain strict standards of safety, patient privacy, and confidentiality
